Glenn R. August
Glenn R. August co-founded the predecessor firm to OHA in 1987 and took responsibility for its credit investment activities in 1990. Under his leadership, OHA has become a leading asset manager across multiple credit strategies, including private credit, high yield debt, leveraged loans, stressed and distressed debt and structured credit. Mr. August heads OHA’s global distressed investment business and various OHA committees, including its investment strategy committee and several fund investment committees. He has played leadership roles in numerous restructurings and, since 1987, has served on eighteen corporate boards. Mr. August is also actively involved in fundraising efforts and relationship management across OHA’s global investor base. In 2021, Mr. August oversaw the acquisition of OHA by T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. and currently serves on its management committee and board of directors. His non-profit activities include serving on the boards of Mount Sinai Medical Center, the Partnership for New York City and Horace Mann School. Mr. August is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and a B.S. from Cornell University.
William H. Bohnsack, Jr.
William H. Bohnsack, Jr. is responsible for day-to-day management of various aspects of OHA, including client relationships, firm strategy, product development, operations, legal, finance and human resources. Mr. Bohnsack chairs or serves on various firm committees including the risk, investment strategy, valuation and ESG committees. In addition, he is a member of OHA’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council. Mr. Bohnsack joined OHA in 1993 as a high yield and distressed debt investor. He previously worked at Prudential Capital and Keystone Group as an investor in both the private and public credit markets. Mr. Bohnsack serves on the Board of Advisors for Columbia Medical School and on the Board of Trustees of the Cape Eleuthera Foundation. He earned an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A., magna cum laude, from St. Lawrence University.
Adam B. Kertzner
Adam B. Kertzner shares portfolio management responsibilities for a number of OHA’s multi-strategy portfolios. He is a member of the investment strategy, ESG and several fund investment committees. Mr. Kertzner joined OHA in early 2002 as an investment professional with a focus on automotive, gaming, paper and packaging and general industrial credits. He then served as OHA’s head trader focusing on high yield and other asset classes. Prior to joining OHA, Mr. Kertzner worked at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette and Credit Suisse First Boston in the Financial Sponsors Coverage group. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the T. Rowe Price OHA Flexible Credit Income Fund and on the Board of Directors for Aurora Sustainable Lands LLC. Mr. Kertzner earned a B.A., cum laude, from Duke University.
Alan M. Schrager
Alan M. Schrager shares responsibility for leading OHA’s private credit business and has portfolio management responsibilities for a number of OHA’s portfolios. Mr. Schrager serves on various OHA committees including the compliance, investment strategy, valuation and several fund investment committees. Previously, he had senior research responsibility for investments in private credit companies, software, industrials and gaming. Prior to joining OHA in early 2003, Mr. Schrager was a Managing Director of USBancorp Libra, where he was responsible for originating, evaluating and structuring private equity, mezzanine and debt transactions and also held several positions at Primary Network, a data CLEC, including Chief Financial Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer. He previously worked in the Leveraged Finance and High Yield Capital Markets group at UBS Securities, LLC. Mr. Schrager currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for two OHA BDCs and serves on the Board of Directors of Smile Brands and New Heights Youth, Inc. He earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
