Investment Team

Sonja Renander is responsible for the management of investment processes for the U.S. Credit team, inclusive of talent management, business process evolution and technology innovation. Ms. Renander serves as the Co-Chair of the firm’s AI Focus Group, which drives the strategy, product selection, and implementation of AI. In addition, she serves on OHA’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council and Risk Management Committee. Ms. Renander most recently worked as Head of Solutions Management and Co-Chair of the Commercial Committee at Bridgewater Associates and as a Senior Advisor and Acting Alternate U.S. Executive Director at the World Bank. Previously, she also served as an Economist and the Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary for International Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Ms. Renander earned a B.A. from St. Olaf College and a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
