John Toronto serves as an investment professional focused on private credit transactions. Prior to joining OHA, Mr. Toronto was Managing Director & Head of Corporate Lending for the Americas at Credit Suisse. Previously, he served as Vice President & Co-Head of the Loan Execution Team at Goldman Sachs & Co. and as an Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP in the private equity and debt financing groups. Mr. Toronto began his career with the United States Marine Corps and currently serves as a board member for the Children of Fallen Patriots. He is a founder of Veterans on Wall Street and was previously a board member for Worldwide Orphans. Mr. Toronto earned a B.A. in American Studies & English from Cornell University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
