Investment Team

Steve Jones is involved in coordinating the firm’s investment process. In addition, Mr. Jones serves as a member of the risk committee, ESG committee and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council. He was previously a partner at Plainfield Asset Management, where he served as the president of the firm’s specialty finance business. Prior to Plainfield, Mr. Jones spent more than 20 years at Salomon Brothers Inc and its successor entities (Salomon Smith Barney and Citigroup). He was a founding member of Salomon Brothers’ high yield department and subsequently became the head of Global Leveraged Finance. Later, Mr. Jones created Citigroup’s Global Loan Portfolio Management Group and launched and led the bank’s Global Structured Credit Products Group. He received a B.S., summa cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A., with highest distinction, from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
